Customer Service Specialist
Custer Federal State Bank has an opportunity for a full-time customer service specialist in our Kearney, Nebraska branch location.
Responsibilities for this position:
Engage and communicate with current and prospective customers
Promote all bank deposit and loan products
Accurately and efficiently complete teller transactions
Open new and service existing deposit accounts
Monitor/maintain on-site automated teller machine performance
Requirements for the position:
Excellent written and verbal skills with customers via in-person visitation, phone, text, or email communication
Ability to work well with others in a team-based environment
Ability to learn various bank core processing and operating systems
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (emphasis on Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness
Previous customer service experience is preferred, but not required.
Work Schedule for the position:
Bank hours of operation are 8:00AM – 5:00PM Monday through Friday; the Bank is closed Saturday and Sunday.

Starting hourly wage based upon prior banking experience and expertise with the duties to be performed
